Fixed Bed Column Adsorben dari Kulit Kopi Dalam Penyisihan Residu Soil Washing dari Tanah Tercemar Minyak Bumi

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Residu Soil Washing dari  tanah tercemar minyak bumi harus dikelola untuk mencegah pencemaran lingkungan lebih lanjut. Media biochar kulit kopi diaplikasikan sebagai adsorben dalam fixed bed column yang bertujuan untuk penyisihan minyak dan lemak dari residu soil washing tanah terkontaminasi minyak bumi. Tebal adsorben biochar ditentukan yaitu 10 cm, 20 cm, dan 30 cm. Penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa penggunaan biochar kulit kopi sebagai adsorben residu soil washing dinilaii efektif menyisihkan minyak lemak, dengan nilai efisiensi penyisihan antara 2,5 mg/L dan 0,3 mg/L dan semakin tebal adsorben pada variasi penelitian ini, semakin baik efisiensi penyisihan minyak dan lemak,

Abstrack

Soil Washing is a method to manage fossil fuel contaimianted soil and results waster residue/effluent (soil washing residue). This study experiment application of biochar of coffee husk in fixed bed column to residual water of soil washig and observe removal efficiency of soil and grease. This study varies biochar thicknes (10 cm, 20 cm, and 30 cm). This study shows that biochar of coffee husk is effective in reducing oil and grease from soil washing residue following fixed bed column with removal efficiency between 2,5 mg/L and 0,3 mg/L depending the thichness of the biochar as the adsobent, the thicker the biochar in the variation of this study, the better the removal efficiency of oil and grease.
