Observasi Tinggi Muka Air Tanah dan Kaitannya dengan Curah Hujan Pada Lahan Gambut Pasca Kebakaran Di Desa Catur Rahayu
Abstract
The peat land of Catur Rahayu Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, covers an area of 3,780 ha. In 2019 there were land fires that caused damage in the form of lowering the groundwater level, the methods for restoring damaged peatlands consisted of Rewetting, Revegetation, and Revitalization. Rewetting is the act of rewetting peat material that has dried up due to the lowering of the peat soil water level. The purpose of this study was to determine the groundwater level on unrewetting peatlands, to determine the daily rainfall that occurred in January 2022 and to determine the relationship between groundwater level and rainfall. The method used was the measurement of the groundwater level not exceeding the standard. stipulated by PP No. 57 of 2016 groundwater level on peat land no more than 0.4 meters below the peat surface at the point of observation; measurement of daily rainfall on the basis of I: 1-10; II: 11-20; basic III: 21-31. This concludes that the dynamics of TMA fluctuations were influenced by rainfall, the higher the rainfall, the higher the Groundwater Level.
